Cookie Clicker is an incremental game created by French programmer Julien Thiennot, also known as "Orteil". The game was released on August 8, 2013, and has since gained a significant following.

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

In Cookie Clicker, the player initially clicks on a large cookie on the screen, earning one cookie per click. As the player accumulates cookies, they can spend them on various items and upgrades that increase the rate of cookie production. These items include cursors, grandmas, farms, mines, factories, banks, temples, wizard towers, shipments, alchemy labs, portals, time machines, and antimatter condensers.

The game also features achievements and upgrades that provide additional bonuses and multipliers to cookie production. Players can also engage in mini-games and special events that further enhance gameplay.
