Davenport College
Davenport College is one of the fourteen residential colleges at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. It was established in 1933 and named after John Davenport, a co-founder of the New Haven Colony.

Davenport College was one of the original residential colleges created by Yale University in the early 1930s. The college was named in honor of John Davenport, who played a significant role in the establishment of New Haven.
