The Debed is a river located in the northern part of Armenia. It originates in the Lori Province and flows through the Debed Canyon, forming a natural border between Armenia and Georgia. The river is approximately 178 kilometers long and is one of the major tributaries of the Kura River.

The Debed River starts its journey from the northeastern slopes of the Armenian Plateau, near the village of Debedavan. It then flows through the Lori Province, passing through several towns and villages, including Alaverdi, Odzun, and Haghpat. The river eventually enters Georgia, where it joins the Kura River near the town of Sadakhlo.
