History

The idea for Dingle Distillery was conceived by Oliver Hughes, who had a passion for whiskey and a desire to revive the tradition of distilling in Dingle. Along with Liam LaHart and Peter Mosley, they set out to establish a distillery that would produce high-quality spirits using traditional methods.

In 2012, Dingle Distillery officially opened its doors and began production. The distillery is located in a converted sawmill, which provides a unique setting for the whiskey-making process. The founders aimed to create a distillery that would not only produce exceptional spirits but also contribute to the local economy and community.

Products

Dingle Distillery offers a range of spirits, including whiskey, gin, and vodka. Their flagship product is Dingle Single Malt Whiskey, which is made using locally sourced barley and traditional pot still distillation methods. The whiskey is aged in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, resulting in a rich and complex flavor profile.

In addition to whiskey, Dingle Distillery also produces Dingle Gin, a handcrafted gin made with botanicals sourced from the surrounding area. The gin has gained recognition for its unique flavor and has won several awards.
