Dolores Cannon
Dolores Cannon (1931 – 2014) was an American hypnotherapist, author, and speaker known for her work in past life regression and her development of a unique technique of hypnosis known as Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT). Cannon's career spanned over four decades, during which she wrote 19 books that cover a wide range of topics including past lives, extraterrestrial encounters, and lost knowledge.
Early Life and Career[edit | edit source]
Dolores Cannon was born in 1931. She began her career in hypnotherapy in the 1960s, working alongside her husband who was a naval officer. Initially, their hypnotherapy work was focused on weight loss and smoking cessation. However, their direction changed dramatically after a session in the late 1960s, when a client under hypnosis began recalling past-life memories. This experience shifted Cannon's focus towards past life regression and exploring the subconscious mind.
Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT)[edit | edit source]
In the 1980s, Dolores Cannon developed Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique, a unique method of hypnosis that involves inducing an individual into the somnambulistic state of trance through visualization. This state is typically experienced only twice daily: the moment just before you become consciously awake and the moment just before you fall asleep. Cannon discovered that in this state, individuals could access past life memories and communicate with a part of themselves she termed "The Subconscious." According to Cannon, this Subconscious could facilitate instantaneous healing and provide profound insights into the individual's life and purpose.
Books and Teachings[edit | edit source]
Dolores Cannon's books cover a variety of esoteric topics that include, but are not limited to, the origins of humanity, ancient civilizations such as Atlantis and Lemuria, UFOs and extraterrestrial beings, and the New Earth. Some of her most notable works include The Convoluted Universe book series, The Three Waves of Volunteers and the New Earth, and Keepers of the Garden. Her writings are based on the thousands of QHHT sessions she conducted, during which she claimed to have communicated with entities and individuals across various dimensions and time periods.
Legacy[edit | edit source]
Dolores Cannon's work has left a lasting impact on the fields of hypnotherapy and spiritual exploration. She founded the Quantum Healing Hypnosis Academy, where she taught her hypnosis techniques to students worldwide. Cannon's methods and teachings continue to be practiced by QHHT practitioners globally.
Cannon's approach to hypnotherapy and her theories on past lives, extraterrestrial involvement in human history, and the power of the subconscious mind have been both celebrated and critiqued. Supporters find her work to be groundbreaking and enlightening, while skeptics question the veracity of her claims and the scientific validity of her methods.
Death[edit | edit source]
Dolores Cannon passed away in 2014. Despite her passing, her books and teachings continue to influence new generations of readers and practitioners interested in alternative therapies and the exploration of the metaphysical aspects of existence.
