Don Gorske is an American world record holder known for his consumption of Big Mac hamburgers from the U.S. fast food chain McDonald's. He is recognized by the Guinness World Records for having eaten the most Big Mac hamburgers in a lifetime, a record he achieved on May 17, 2018, when he ate his 30,000th Big Mac.

Gorske was born on November 28, 1953, in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, where he continues to reside. Not much is known about his early life, but his love for Big Macs began in 1972.

Big Mac Consumption[edit | edit source]

Gorske's obsession with Big Macs began on May 17, 1972, when he bought and ate his first three Big Macs. Since then, he has maintained a steady diet of Big Macs, consuming an average of two per day. He keeps track of his consumption by saving the boxes and receipts.

Gorske's dedication to his diet has led him to become a minor celebrity. He has appeared on numerous television shows, including The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live!. He was also featured in the 2004 documentary film Super Size Me, in which he stated that he usually eats two Big Macs per day.

Gorske's unique dietary habit has earned him recognition from several quarters. In 2006, he was recognized by the Guinness World Records for having eaten the most Big Macs in a lifetime. On May 17, 2018, he ate his 30,000th Big Mac, further cementing his record.

Despite his unusual diet, Gorske maintains that he is in good health. He has stated that his cholesterol and blood pressure levels are normal. He is married and leads a relatively private life outside of his Big Mac consumption.
