Dorcan
Dorcan is a residential and industrial area located in the eastern part of Swindon, a large town in Wiltshire, England. It is part of the civil parish of Nythe, Eldene and Liden.

Dorcan was developed during the 1960s and 1970s as part of the expansion of Swindon. The name "Dorcan" is derived from the old English words "dor" meaning water and "can" meaning hill, reflecting the area's geographical features.

Dorcan is situated to the east of Swindon town center and is bordered by the areas of Covingham, Liden, and Eldene. The area is characterized by a mix of residential housing and industrial estates.
