Drishyam 2 is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language crime thriller film written and directed by Jeethu Joseph. It is a sequel to the 2013 film Drishyam and features Mohanlal reprising his role as Georgekutty, along with Meena, Ansiba Hassan, and Esther Anil in supporting roles. The film was produced by Antony Perumbavoor through the company Aashirvad Cinemas.

The story picks up six years after the events of Drishyam. Georgekutty has now fulfilled his dream of opening a cinema hall and is working on producing a film. However, the family is still haunted by the events of the past, and the police are still investigating the disappearance of Varun Prabhakar. The film delves into how Georgekutty and his family deal with the renewed investigation and the lengths to which Georgekutty goes to protect his family.

The film was officially announced in May 2020, and principal photography began in September 2020, adhering to COVID-19 safety protocols. The film was shot primarily in Thodupuzha, Kerala, where the first film was also shot. Anil Johnson composed the music for the film, while Satheesh Kurup handled the cinematography.

Drishyam 2 was released directly on Amazon Prime Video on 19 February 2022, bypassing a theatrical release due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film received positive reviews for its screenplay, direction, and performances, particularly that of Mohanlal.

The film was praised for its engaging narrative and the performance of the cast. Critics noted that the sequel lived up to the expectations set by the first film and appreciated the twists and turns in the plot.
