Durham is a small borough located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It is known for its rich history and picturesque setting along the Delaware River.

Durham was first settled in the early 18th century. The area was originally inhabited by the Lenape Native Americans before European settlers arrived. The borough was officially incorporated in 1915.
Durham is historically significant for its Durham Furnace, which was established in 1727. The furnace was one of the earliest ironworks in Pennsylvania and played a crucial role in the American Revolutionary War by supplying munitions to the Continental Army.

Durham is situated in the northeastern part of Bucks County, bordered by the Delaware River to the east. The borough covers a total area of 0.2 square miles, all of which is land. The surrounding landscape is characterized by rolling hills and lush forests, typical of the Piedmont region.
