Ed Gamble
Ed Gamble (born March 10, 1986) is a British comedian, actor, and writer. He is best known for his work in stand-up comedy, as well as his appearances on television and radio.
Early Life[edit | edit source]
Ed Gamble was born in Hammersmith, London, England. He attended Durham University, where he studied philosophy. During his time at university, he became involved in the university's comedy scene, performing with the Durham Revue.
Career[edit | edit source]
Stand-Up Comedy[edit | edit source]
Ed Gamble began his stand-up career in the mid-2000s. He has performed at numerous comedy festivals, including the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where he has received critical acclaim for his shows. His comedy style is known for its observational humor and witty commentary.
Television[edit | edit source]
Gamble has made several appearances on British television. He is a regular on the panel show Mock the Week and has appeared on other shows such as Taskmaster, 8 Out of 10 Cats, and The Russell Howard Hour. In 2019, he won the ninth series of Taskmaster.

In addition to his television work, Ed Gamble co-hosts the podcast Off Menu with fellow comedian James Acaster. The podcast features guests from the world of comedy and beyond, discussing their dream meals.
