Eduardo Gómez (actor)
Eduardo Gómez Manzano (27 July 1951 – 28 July 2019) was a Spanish actor, best known for his roles in popular Spanish TV series such as Aquí no hay quien viva and La que se avecina. Born in Huelva, Spain, Gómez began his acting career later in life, but quickly became a beloved figure in Spanish television, celebrated for his comedic timing and distinctive voice.

Eduardo Gómez was born in Huelva, Andalusia, but moved to Madrid in his early years. Little is known about his early life before he became a television star, as he did not come from a traditional acting background and entered the profession when he was already in his forties.

Gómez's acting career began in the late 1990s, with small roles in various Spanish TV shows and movies. However, it was his role as Mariano Delgado in the hit sitcom Aquí no hay quien viva (2003-2006), a show about the quirky inhabitants of a Madrid apartment building, that brought him national fame. His character, a lovable but dim-witted handyman, became one of the show's most beloved characters.
Following the end of Aquí no hay quien viva, Gómez continued to work with the same production team and was cast in La que se avecina, a spiritual successor to Aquí no hay quien viva. In La que se avecina, he played Maxi, a bar owner with a heart of gold but a complicated love life, further cementing his status as a comedic talent in Spanish television.
Throughout his career, Eduardo Gómez appeared in various other television shows and movies, showcasing his versatility as an actor.
