- Ellisville is a city located in Jones County, Mississippi, United States. It is part of the Laurel, Mississippi Micropolitan Statistical Area. The city is named after Powhatan Ellis, a former U.S. Senator for Mississippi and descendant of Chief Powhatan, father of Pocahontas.

- Ellisville was first settled by European Americans in the early 19th century. The city was incorporated in 1861. It served as a major site for the Confederate States of America during the Civil War, and was the location of Camp Shelby, a major training camp for soldiers.
