The Eurocopter EC135 is a twin-engine civil helicopter produced by Eurocopter (now part of Airbus Helicopters). It is widely used by police and ambulance services and for executive transport. It is known for its high performance, safety features, and versatility, which have made it one of the most popular helicopters in its class.

The EC135's development began in the 1980s as the MBB Bo 108 by Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm (MBB). The design was revolutionary, featuring a Fenestron tail rotor instead of the traditional tail rotor, which improved safety and noise levels. After MBB became part of Eurocopter in 1992, the helicopter was renamed the EC135. It made its first flight on 15 February 1994 and was certified by the German Luftfahrt-Bundesamt in 1996. The EC135 has a composite airframe and a digital automatic flight control system (AFCS).
