F1000 is a publisher of a range of scientific literature resources. It was established in 2000 and is based in London, United Kingdom. The company's main products include F1000Prime, F1000Workspace, and F1000Research.

F1000 was founded in 2000 by Vitek Tracz as a subsidiary of his Science Navigation Group. The company was initially established to provide post-publication peer review of articles from the biomedical literature. Over the years, F1000 has expanded its services to include a range of scientific literature resources.

F1000's main products include:

  • F1000Prime: A literature awareness tool that highlights and reviews the most interesting papers published in the biological and medical sciences, based on the recommendations of a faculty of over 10,000 leading researchers in the field.
  • F1000Workspace: A suite of tools to help scientists collect, write and discuss scientific literature. The platform includes reference management software and a tool to facilitate collaborative writing of scientific papers.
  • F1000Research: An open science publishing platform for life scientists that offers immediate publication of posters, slides and articles without editorial bias. All articles benefit from transparent post-publication peer review, and editorial guidance on making source data openly available.
