F3 Nation is a peer-led, free, workout group that started in Charlotte, North Carolina and has expanded across the United States. The name F3 stands for Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith, which are the three core principles around which the group is centered. F3 Nation was founded on January 1, 2011, by David Redding, known as "Dredd," and Tim Whitmire, known as "OBT," who aimed to combat the sedentary lifestyles and isolation experienced by many men in contemporary society.
