Fidelis Care was founded in 1993 by the Catholic Health Services of Long Island and the Diocese of Brooklyn. The organization was established with the mission to serve the health insurance needs of residents of New York State, particularly those who are underserved or lack access to affordable health care. Over the years, Fidelis Care has expanded its services and coverage area to include all 62 counties of New York State.
