Fictional Character Biography[edit | edit source]

The Forgotten One, also known as Gilgamesh, is one of the Eternals, a race of immortal beings created by the Celestials. He has lived for thousands of years, often masquerading as heroes from human mythology, including Hercules and Samson. His immense strength and combat skills have made him one of the mightiest Eternals.

Throughout his long life, the Forgotten One has often found himself at odds with his fellow Eternals, particularly over his involvement with humanity. This has led to periods of exile, during which he continued to act as a protector of mankind. His valor and heroism eventually led to his joining the Avengers, where he served alongside Earth's mightiest heroes against numerous threats.

Despite his contributions, the Forgotten One's name and deeds have often been lost to history, leading to his moniker. However, his actions have left an indelible mark on the Marvel Universe, making him a key figure in its lore.
