Framingham is a city in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the United States. It is located in Middlesex County and is part of the Greater Boston metropolitan area. Framingham was incorporated as a town in 1700 and became a city in 2018.

Framingham was first settled in 1647 and was officially incorporated in 1700. The city has a rich history, including its role in the American Revolutionary War and its development during the Industrial Revolution.

Framingham is located approximately 20 miles west of Boston. It covers an area of 68.5 square kilometers, with 65.8 square kilometers of land and 2.7 square kilometers of water. The city is characterized by its suburban environment, with a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial areas.
