Frank Baldino Jr.' is an American pharmacologist and entrepreneur, best known as the founder and former CEO of Cephalon, a biopharmaceutical company.

Frank Baldino Jr. was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He received his Bachelor's degree in Biology from Rutgers University and his Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the Temple University School of Medicine.

After completing his education, Baldino worked as a senior scientist at DuPont Pharmaceuticals. In 1987, he founded Cephalon, a company focused on the research and development of neurological and sleep disorders. Under his leadership, Cephalon grew into a successful biopharmaceutical company, developing several important drugs including Provigil and Nuvigil.

Baldino was known for his dedication to research and development, and his commitment to bringing innovative therapies to market. He was also recognized for his contributions to the field of neuroscience and was a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics and the Society for Neuroscience.
