- Franklin Parish is a parish located in the northeastern part of the U.S. state of Louisiana. As of the 2010 census, the population was 20,767. The parish seat is Winnsboro. The parish was founded in 1843 and named after Benjamin Franklin.

- Franklin Parish is located in the northeastern region of Louisiana. It is bordered by Richland Parish to the north, Tensas Parish to the east, Catahoula Parish to the south, and Caldwell Parish to the west. The parish has a total area of 635 square miles, of which 625 square miles is land and 10 square miles is water.

The racial makeup of the parish was 67.1% White, 31.5% Black or African American, 0.3% Native American, 0.2% Asian, and 0.9% from two or more races.
