  • Franklin County is a county located in the U.S. state of Vermont. As of the 2010 census, the population was 47,746. Its county seat is St. Albans. Franklin County is part of the Burlington metropolitan area.

  • Franklin County occupies the northwesternmost corner of Vermont. The county has a total area of 692 square miles, of which 634 square miles is land and 58 square miles is water.
