Frederick Douglass Stubbs

Frederick Douglass Stubbs (born 1946) is an American physician and politician known for his contributions to public health and his service in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

Frederick Douglass Stubbs was born in 1946 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was named after the famous abolitionist Frederick Douglass, reflecting his family's deep roots in the African American community and their commitment to civil rights. Stubbs attended local public schools in Philadelphia, where he excelled academically.
After completing high school, Stubbs pursued higher education at Lincoln University (Pennsylvania), one of the historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) in the United States. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. His passion for medicine led him to attend the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
