FruChocs
FruChocs is a popular Australian confectionery product, primarily known and consumed in South Australia. It is produced by Robern Menz, a family-owned food manufacturer based in Adelaide. FruChocs are bite-sized pieces of apricot and peach fruit centers, coated in milk chocolate. They were first introduced in 1948 and have since become a cultural icon in South Australia, even being officially recognized as the state's favorite sweet in 2005.

Robern Menz began producing FruChocs in 1948 as a way to use up excess fruit from the company's dried fruit business. The product quickly gained popularity due to its unique combination of fruit and chocolate. In 2005, FruChocs were officially recognized as a South Australian icon by the National Trust of South Australia.

The production of FruChocs involves a multi-step process. First, apricots and peaches are dried and then rehydrated to create a soft, chewy center.
