Gary Conway (born February 4, 1936) is an American actor, screenwriter, film director, and producer. He has been active in the entertainment industry since 1957.
Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]
Gary Conway was born on February 4, 1936, in Boston, Massachusetts. He developed an interest in acting at a young age and participated in various school plays and theater productions. After completing his high school education, Conway pursued his passion for acting by enrolling in the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City.

Acting[edit | edit source]
Conway began his acting career in 1957 with a role in the film I Was a Teenage Frankenstein. He gained recognition for his role as Steve Andrews in the science fiction film I Was a Teenage Werewolf (1957), which became a cult classic. Throughout his career, Conway appeared in numerous films and television shows, including Burke's Law, Land of the Giants, and The Virginian.
Screenwriting and Directing[edit | edit source]
In addition to acting, Conway also ventured into screenwriting and directing. He wrote and directed the film American Ninja 2: The Confrontation (1987), which was a commercial success. Conway's talent as a screenwriter and director allowed him to explore different genres and showcase his versatility in the industry.

Conway has also worked as a producer on various projects. He produced the television series Burke's Law (1994–1995), which was a revival of the original series from the 1960s. His experience as a producer further solidified his position in the entertainment industry.
