Godfather's Pizza
Godfather's Pizza is an American pizza chain established in Omaha, Nebraska in 1973 by Willy Theisen. The company has experienced various changes in ownership and has operated as a subsidiary of several different parent companies over the years. As of 2021, Godfather's Pizza operates more than 300 locations across the United States.

Godfather's Pizza was founded by Willy Theisen, an entrepreneur from Omaha, Nebraska. Theisen's vision was to create a pizza chain that offered a diverse menu with a focus on quality ingredients and customer service. The first Godfather's Pizza location opened in Omaha in 1973.
In 1983, Pillsbury acquired Godfather's Pizza. Under Pillsbury's ownership, the chain expanded rapidly, reaching over 900 locations by the mid-1980s. In 1986, Herman Cain, a former Pillsbury executive, was appointed to lead Godfather's Pizza. Cain led a group of investors in buying the company from Pillsbury in 1988.
