- Gooding, Idaho is a city located in the United States, specifically in the state of Idaho. It is the county seat of Gooding County, and as of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 3,567. The city is named for Frank R. Gooding, a local sheep rancher who became a prominent political figure, serving as both a U.S. Senator and the seventh Governor of Idaho.

- Gooding is located at 42°56′14″N 114°42′50″W. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.59 square miles, all of it land.
