Grégory Jean-Paul Lemarchal (13 May 1983 – 30 April 2007) was a French singer who gained fame after winning the fourth season of the French television show Star Academy in 2004. He was known for his powerful voice and emotional performances.

Grégory Lemarchal was born in La Tronche, a suburb of Grenoble, France. He was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at the age of 20 months, a condition that significantly impacted his life and career. Despite his illness, Lemarchal pursued his passion for music from a young age.

Lemarchal's career took off after he won Star Academy in 2004. His debut album, Je deviens moi, was released in 2005 and was a commercial success, reaching the top of the French charts. The album included hit singles such as "Écris l'histoire" and "Je suis en vie".
In 2006, Lemarchal released a live album, Olympia 06, which was recorded during his performances at the Olympia in Paris. His second studio album, La Voix d'un ange, was released posthumously in 2007 and also achieved significant success.
