Greedy for Tweety
Greedy for Tweety is a 1957 Warner Bros. Merrie Melodies animated short directed by Friz Freleng. The short was released on September 28, 1957, and stars Tweety, Sylvester, and Hector the Bulldog.
Plot[edit | edit source]
The story begins with Tweety being chased by Sylvester. During the chase, both characters, along with Hector the Bulldog, end up getting injured and are taken to the hospital. The three characters are placed in the same room, where the nurse, a human character, takes care of them.
Throughout the short, Sylvester continuously tries to catch Tweety, despite being confined to a hospital bed. Hector the Bulldog acts as a protector for Tweety, thwarting Sylvester's attempts. The short features various comedic situations involving the characters' injuries and their interactions with the nurse.

- Tweety - A small, yellow canary who is the target of Sylvester's pursuit.
- Sylvester - A black and white cat who is constantly trying to catch Tweety.
