The Greenlandic Football Championship is the premier football league in Greenland. It is organized by the Football Association of Greenland (Kalaallit Nunaanni Isikkamik Arsaattartut Kattuffiat), also known as KNIAG. The championship is contested by various football clubs from different regions of Greenland.

The Greenlandic Football Championship was first established in 1954. It has since become an important event in Greenlandic sports, attracting a significant following and showcasing the talent of local football players.
Format[edit | edit source]
The championship follows a round-robin format, where each team plays against every other team twice, once at home and once away. The team with the highest number of points at the end of the season is crowned the champion. In case of a tie, goal difference and other tie-breaking criteria are used to determine the winner.
