Guadalupe County, New Mexico is a county located in the U.S. state of New Mexico. As of the 2010 census, the population was 4,687, making it the fifth-least populous county in New Mexico. Its county seat is Santa Rosa. The county was created from the eastern portion of San Miguel County on February 26, 1891, by an act of the New Mexico Territorial Legislature. Guadalupe County is named after the Catholic icon of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
