Gul Mohammed was born on February 15, 1957, in New Delhi, India. He was the son of an Indian family and grew up in the bustling city of New Delhi. From a young age, Gul Mohammed faced challenges due to his unique physical condition.

Gul Mohammed was known for being the shortest adult human whose height was verified by the Guinness World Records. He stood at a height of 57 cm (1 ft 10 2 5 in) when measured on July 19, 1990. His small stature was due to a condition known as primordial dwarfism, which is characterized by a smaller body size at all stages of life.
