Gunther Philipp
Gunther Philipp (8 June 1918 – 2 October 2003) was an Austrian actor, physician, and swimmer. Born Gunther Placheta in Toplița, Romania, he moved to Austria where he would eventually become one of the country's most beloved entertainers. Over his career, he appeared in more than 150 films, making significant contributions to the German-language cinema from the 1940s through the 1980s.
