Habib Medical School is a prominent medical education institution located in Kampala, Uganda. It is part of the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) and is known for its comprehensive medical programs and commitment to producing skilled healthcare professionals.

Habib Medical School was established in 2014 as a constituent college of the Islamic University in Uganda. The school was founded with the aim of addressing the shortage of medical professionals in Uganda and the East African region. It was named in honor of a prominent philanthropist who contributed significantly to its establishment.

The school is situated on the Kampala campus of the Islamic University in Uganda. The campus is equipped with modern facilities, including lecture halls, laboratories, and a library. The serene environment provides an ideal setting for medical education and research.

Habib Medical School offers a variety of programs aimed at training competent healthcare professionals. The main program is the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), which is a five-year course. The MBChB program is structured to include pre-clinical and clinical training. During the first two years, students focus on basic medical sciences such as anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry. The subsequent years involve clinical rotations in various specialties, including internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, and obstetrics and gynecology.
