Hamilton County is a county located in the U.S. state of Florida. As of the 2010 census, the population was 14,799. Its county seat is Jasper. Hamilton County was created in 1827 from portions of Jefferson County. It was named for Alexander Hamilton, first Secretary of the Treasury.
