Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is an NHS foundation trust that provides healthcare services in Hampshire and parts of West Berkshire. It was established in January 2012 through the merger of Basingstoke and North Hampshire NHS Foundation Trust and Winchester and Eastleigh Healthcare Trust. The trust operates Andover War Memorial Hospital, Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, and Royal Hampshire County Hospital. It also runs the Candover Clinic, a private hospital located on the same site as Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital.

With approximately 6,000 staff members, Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is accountable to the public through a Council of Governors elected by the trust's members. Membership is open to anyone free of charge.

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was formed on January 9, 2012, following the merger of Basingstoke and North Hampshire NHS Foundation Trust and Winchester and Eastleigh Healthcare NHS Trust.

Structure[edit | edit source]

The trust employs around 6,000 staff members. As an NHS foundation trust, it is governed by a Council of Governors elected by the trust's members. Membership is open to the public at no cost.
