Harold Legg is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera EastEnders, portrayed by actor Leonard Fenton. Dr. Harold Legg is one of the original twenty-three characters invented by the creators of EastEnders, Tony Holland and Julia Smith. Dr. Legg made his first appearance on 19 February 1985, the show's debut episode, and served as the soap's original general practitioner. His character was written out of the series in 1997 but made several guest appearances until 2000. In 2018, it was announced that Dr. Legg would return to the show, marking Fenton's return to the role after an 18-year absence. He made his last appearance in February 2019.
