Heladería Coromoto was founded by Manuel Da Silva Oliveira, a Portuguese immigrant, in 1981. Oliveira started with only 10 flavors and gradually increased the number, experimenting with a wide range of ingredients, including unconventional ones such as spaghetti and beer, to create new flavors. The parlor's fame grew as it expanded its repertoire, eventually earning it a place in the Guinness World Records.
