The season was first broadcast on May 29, 2012, and concluded on September 10, 2012. Renowned chef Gordon Ramsay returned as the host and head chef, while Andi Van Willigan and James Avery served as sous chefs for the red and blue teams, respectively. Jean-Philippe Susilovic also returned as the maître d'. This season featured 18 new contestants competing for the position of Head Chef at Gordon Ramsay Steak at the Paris Las Vegas, a prize valued at $250,000.
