Henry Revell Reynolds

Henry Revell Reynolds (1745 – 22 October 1811) was a prominent English physician known for his contributions to the medical field in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. He served as the physician to King George III and was a respected member of the Royal College of Physicians.

Henry Revell Reynolds was born in 1745. He pursued his medical education at the University of Edinburgh, which was renowned for its medical school. After completing his studies, Reynolds furthered his education at the University of Leiden, a leading center for medical research and education in Europe at the time.
Medical Career[edit | edit source]
Reynolds began his medical practice in London, where he quickly gained a reputation for his skill and knowledge. In 1777, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, an institution that played a crucial role in the advancement of medical science in Britain.

In 1797, Reynolds was appointed as one of the physicians to King George III. This prestigious position underscored his status as one of the leading physicians of his time.
