Hermes Binner (June 5, 1943 – June 26, 2020) was an Argentine physician, politician, and member of the Socialist Party. He served as the governor of Santa Fe Province from 2007 to 2011, becoming the first socialist to be elected as a provincial governor in Argentina. Prior to his tenure as governor, Binner was the mayor of Rosario, the largest city in Santa Fe, from 1995 to 2003. His political career was marked by a focus on health care reform, education, and social policies aimed at reducing poverty and promoting social justice.
