High density disk
High Density Disk (HDD) refers to a type of disk storage device that has a higher storage capacity compared to traditional floppy disks. High Density Disks were widely used in the late 20th century for data storage and transfer, especially in personal computers. The most common format of High Density Disks was the 3.5-inch floppy disk, which had a storage capacity of 1.44 MB, significantly higher than the 720 KB of its predecessor, the double density disk.
