Home and Away
Home and Away is an Australian television soap opera. It was created by Alan Bateman and has been produced in Sydney, New South Wales, since July 1987. The show premiered on the Seven Network on 17 January 1988.

The series is set in the fictional town of Summer Bay, a coastal town in New South Wales. The show focuses on the lives, loves, and challenges of the residents of Summer Bay. The central location for many of the show's storylines is the Summer Bay Caravan Park, which is run by the Fletcher family in the early years of the show.
Main Characters[edit | edit source]
Over the years, Home and Away has featured a large ensemble cast. Some of the most notable characters include:
- Alf Stewart - One of the original characters, played by Ray Meagher.
- Sally Fletcher - Played by Kate Ritchie, she is one of the longest-serving characters.
- Leah Patterson-Baker - Played by Ada Nicodemou, she has been a central character since her introduction.

The show is filmed at Palm Beach, which is used for the exterior scenes of Summer Bay. The interior scenes are filmed at the Seven Network studios in Eveleigh.
