Homeschooling‏‎, also known as home education, is the education of children at home or a variety of other places other than school. Home education is usually conducted by a parent, tutor, or an online teacher. Many families use less formal ways of educating.

In the past, many children received education at home because of the lack of schools in remote areas. In the modern era, homeschooling has become a choice for parents who want to provide a personalized education to their children.

There are many methods of homeschooling, and the methods often depend on the child's learning style and the family's lifestyle. Some popular methods include Classical education, Charlotte Mason education, Montessori method, and Unschooling.
