- Hometown is a city located in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The city was incorporated in 1953 and has a population of approximately 4,340 as per the 2010 census. Hometown is known for its unique residential structure, featuring single-story homes separated by small, white picket fences.

- Hometown is located at 41°43′50″N 87°43′36″W. The city has a total area of 0.48 square miles, all land.
Healthcare Facilities[edit | edit source]
- Hometown is home to several healthcare facilities that provide a range of services to the residents.
- Advocate Health Care is a faith-based, nonprofit health system based in Downers Grove, Illinois, and is the largest health system in Illinois. Advocate operates more than 450 sites of care, including 12 hospitals that encompass 11 acute care hospitals, the state’s largest integrated children’s network, five Level I trauma centers (the state’s highest designation in trauma care), three Level II trauma centers, one of the area’s largest home health and hospice companies and one of the region’s largest medical groups.
- Palos Health is a community-based healthcare system that includes Palos Hospital, Palos Medical Group, Palos Health South Campus in Orland Park, Palos Home Care and Hospice, and Chicago Health Colleagues. Palos Health offers a 425-bed hospital and a comprehensive range of healthcare services.
- Little Company of Mary Hospital is a not-for-profit Catholic community hospital providing the latest surgical, inpatient and outpatient facilities. It is located in the nearby city of Evergreen Park, but serves the residents of Hometown as well.
