Hot air oven

It utilizes hot air to destroy bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms on surgical instruments, glassware, and other materials that can withstand high temperatures.

The high temperatures denature proteins, oxidize metabolic and structural chemicals, and dehydrate the cells, leading to the destruction of microorganisms.

A hot air oven consists of an insulated chamber equipped with heaters to produce high temperatures, a fan to ensure uniform distribution of heat, and a temperature control system. The items to be sterilized are placed on trays inside the chamber.
