- Huxley is a city located in Story County, Iowa, United States. It is part of the Ames, Iowa Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is a part of the larger Ames-Boone, Iowa Combined Statistical Area. The city was incorporated on May 3, 1902, and has grown steadily over the years, with a population of 3,317 as of the 2010 census.
