The International Medical University (IMU) is a private medical university located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Established in 1992, it is Malaysia's first and most established private medical and health sciences university with over 28 years of dedicated focus in healthcare education.

The International Medical University was established in 1992 as the International Medical College (IMC). It was the first private medical college in Malaysia and was granted university status in 1999, becoming the International Medical University (IMU). The university was founded with the aim of providing quality medical education and producing competent healthcare professionals.
