History

Innocent Drinks started as a small business venture by three friends who wanted to create healthy and natural drinks. They began by selling their products at a music festival in London, where they set up a stall with a sign that read, "Should we give up our jobs to make these smoothies?" The customers were given the opportunity to vote by placing their empty bottles in either a "yes" or "no" bin. At the end of the festival, the "yes" bin was full, and that's when the founders knew they had a potential business idea.

Encouraged by the positive response, Innocent Drinks officially launched in 1999. They started by producing smoothies made from 100% pure fruit, with no added sugar or preservatives.
