J. P. Nadda
Jagat Prakash Nadda (born 2 December 1960) is an Indian politician serving as the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) since January 2020. Prior to his current role, he has held several significant positions in the government, including the Minister of Health and Family Welfare from 2014 to 2019 under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's administration. Nadda has been a prominent figure in Indian politics, contributing to the BJP's strategies and policies at both national and state levels.

Jagat Prakash Nadda was born in Patna, Bihar, to Dr. Narain Lall Nadda and Krishna Nadda. He completed his early education in Patna and subsequently pursued a Bachelor of Arts from Patna College, Patna University. Nadda later obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Himachal Pradesh University in Shimla, where his interest in politics began to take shape. During his university years, Nadda was actively involved in student politics, particularly with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the student wing of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
