Janez Brajkovič (born 18 December 1983) is a Slovenian professional road bicycle racer, who has competed professionally since 2005. Brajkovič's career highlights include winning the 2007 Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré, a stage race that is considered a key preparatory event for the Tour de France, and representing Slovenia at the Olympic Games.

Janez Brajkovič was born in Metlika, Slovenia. He began cycling at a young age and quickly rose through the ranks of junior cycling in Slovenia. His talent was evident early on, and he joined the Slovenian cycling team, Krka-Telekom Slovenije, as a young rider. Brajkovič's early career was marked by a series of promising results in both the junior and under-23 categories, which caught the attention of professional teams.

Brajkovič turned professional in 2005 with the Discovery Channel Pro Cycling Team, where he had the opportunity to ride alongside some of the sport's greats, including Lance Armstrong. His breakthrough came in 2007 when he won the Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré, showcasing his abilities as a strong climber and time trialist.
